  1. I had a quart of chicken broth and Rice cakes in the freezer, so this was a no-brainer combination. Simmer the broth with garlic and onion, and I added some dashi for flavor. Some soy sauce. Swirl in egg, scallions, and drizzle of sesame. Of course, eat with kimch and cucumber kimchi.
