This week, we’re featuring **Gravesend**

We’re going by this unofficial [Google Map overlay](https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1VYN-6Vkk01byUCF7P13rT6ORT5g) as a GENERAL outline as to what the neighborhoods are. It’s not a strict requirement but try not to go too far outside of the boundaries.

Some optional prompts:

* What are some of your favorite food spots or “hidden gems”?
* Any “must have” or go to dishes from those particular spots?
* Are there any points of interest or events that is worth going out of the way to visit?

  1. Controversial nowadays, but would be negligent not to include L&B Spumoni Gardens for the square slices and/or the spumoni. I personally really enjoy them.

Kind of a food desert out that way – what’s already been mentioned is the tops, L&B (the pizza is average but the restaurant is good), John’s Deli, Joe’s of Ave. U (not as good as it used to be but still solid).

I’d add relative newcomer Mr. Banh Mi and Mtskheta Cafe (Georgian) just to round it out with a little something different.

Not really a restaurant but the Bath Club of NY has better food than the other Bayna’s in NYC
