Got these habanero cucumber ‘Zombie’ Taki’s at a gas station (don’t ask me why, given that I don’t like normal Taki’s) and didn’t like them. Thought they might taste better in a grilled cheese, and I was right. 7/10, would eat again.

does using shredded cheese make a difference or is that just all you had?
I don’t like the texture of Takis, but I bet they would hold up well. I do this with other chips and it works pretty well, but you gotta have both sides cooking and then assemble it with the chips in the middle right before it’s done

I lived in the US for 2 years. I bought the blue takis one day and thought they were so disgusting I couldn’t stop laughing. Then my housemates arrived and I made them taste it and then we all laughed about how gross they were for like 10 minutes.

Zombie Takis were one of the biggest letdowns for me in recent memory. I don’t love Takis but think they’re pretty okay and generally I like spicy, crunchy stuff. The description of “Habanero, lime and cucumber” sounded kind of interesting and of course there was TikTok hype around their “Limited time return”.
They were fucking unimaginably bad. Maybe I just don’t like cucumber flavour, but it almost made me choke. It’s like a horrible grassy flavour that overwhelms everything else. The habanero heat was fairly mild and pleasant, the lime was good though a little artificial, but the cucumber was such a nasty, lingering taste that I threw the bag out after trying a handful of them twice on different nights.

Had a bag of zombie takis the other week. I really liked them. They were odd, but a nice one off.
I don’t like the zombie ones but I sometimes put takis in burgers when I’m high enough, so this isn’t stupid at all
