First time trying omakase menu. Interesting experience. Eye opening for sure. Very different to the average sushi restaurant. Some pieces were spectacular like the otoro but some I didn’t like at all. 100$ per person for 12 nigiri , 5 sashimi, hand roll, tartar and dessert. Value was there for sure. Lots of food. Good quality.

At $100 a person, the presentation of those dishes is lookin a lil whack imo. Glad to hear it was atleast tasty

Lol the ikura looks so sad. 100 bucks is too much for this

I’ve been here a few times and think it’s some of the best value for price.
The fish is often unique and not typical fish you see. Usually excellent seasoned and aged. Presentation when i’ve been hasn’t really been an issue to me. Each piece is made and plated right away.

It seems any Sushi place slaps the Omakse label on so they can charge more. Also, Notice that most of the Michelin star restaurants in Toronto and Vancouver are Japanese? I’ve only been to a couple of Omakse places that I think are worth the price tag.
