What is the project?

A shoe tree for coffee. I have seen it all. It’s an interesting approach, having said that, I question that people who buy coffee beans are interested in purchasing such a product. I feel like most people who drink cheap “industrial” coffee buy it either in pods, or pre-ground, and people who buy whole-bean coffee and bother to buy a grinder generally care more about the coffee they’re drinking and buy better quality coffee in general.
Either way it’s innovative, I wish you the best. I don’t think I’m interested in such a product myself but it’s thinking outside the box.
I’m probably not the target audience for this one, but this doesn’t make any sense to me.
A lot of the people who buy commodity coffee, like the taste of it. I am curious to try it however, as I can’t imagine it’s anything than trying to polish a turd

Can you explain how this works? I bulk buy my beans in kg bags to save money and towards the end of the bag, the beans begin to get stale, id be somewhat interested in a product like this but am interested in the science behind it.

Not to mention the wood will absorb oils from the coffee, retain those oils, and then those oils will go rancid and impart a bitter taste to the new beans.
Somebody tried this years ago with some wood product, and it was crap.

Good luck. And I know I am not the target for this product…
But for the entry price of your kick starter I can provide 2 bags of freshly roasted single origin fair trade organic coffee with free shipping (inside the US)

I thought this was going to be a question about something to do with the project, not whether or not you could share it here.

As a sommelier, and going through the courses for my Q grader certs, I am intrigued.
