Made plans to go here and backed out so many times. I appreciate how transparent he is with this message – every other closure reads kind of the same “just a temporary setback, we’ll be back soon!” This is unapologetic and honest, more should be this way.

Of all the restaurant closures this year, this one is the most heartbreaking for me. Kinn is one of my faves (I’ve eaten almost all of their menus including this one fortunately) and there’s nothing else like it in LA. Wishing Ki and the staff best of luck in the future.

dammit. just went there to try their fall menu and was really impressed with what they were able to accomplish. for sure thought a michelin star was in their cards, so i’m bummed about the news.
