She loved lighthouses. The smaller cookies, I baked the icing on, hoping for the crinkle effect, but it raised and flaked so I’ll probably redo the sand dollars.

Beautiful!!! If what you were trying to do was the crackle effect like [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/CpQ5qjmOGtw/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) you don’t bake the icing, what you do is you brush the food dye (preferably good quality like americolor) on the raw cookie and then bake.
