Hi all, I hope everyone is having a great holiday if you are celebrating, and making some delicious stuff. I was planning on making tenderloin with the quick and easy pan-seared steak method & the foolproof béarnaise, both from The Food Lab, but I purchased some tenderloins that appeared to be about 2 1/2 inches thick and once I got them open, they were actually just kind of rolled up and not like that… at all. I have no idea if that’s normal and I’m just a moron who messed up or if I got tricked by packaging, but regardless, I could use some help to fix these into something edible for tonight? I’m disabled and I rarely get to cook anymore, so it sucks that I botched it when I was finally going to make something.
