Keto Biscuits & Gravy Recipe
Keto Southern Biscuits
Gluten free Low carb & Sugar free

All By Using My Keto Self-Rising Flour!

NET CARBS PER BISCUIT 1.3 CARBS!

Biscuit Ingredients
“If using my Perfected Keto flour you will need to
ADD 1 Tbs plus 2 tsp baking powder”
2 1/2 cups of my self rising flour
250 grams

1 Stick cold butter cubed 8Tbs
1 cup warm heavy cream
1 tsp appple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Allulose

Gravy
1 pound sausage
3 Tbs butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup My all purpose flour https://youtu.be/HV6tgyHWKbo
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cup water

425 for 10 minutes

Directions
Put warm whipping cream in a cup.
Add Apple cider vinegar (helps with leavening, and gives buttermilk taste)
Set cup aside
Put the flour mixture into the food processor
Add the cold, cubed butter by sprinkling it around on top
Pulse in food processor
Take it out and put into a bowl
Sprinkle in allulose (won’t make them sweet, a finishing)
Add whipping cream mixture, dough should be sticky
Use ice cream scoop to portion out ~9 biscuits
Bake 425 for 10 minutes

  3. Thank you for this excellent recipe!
    I just made these but forgot to warm the cream. The resulting dough was not as sticky as yours and easily rolled between sheets of baking paper, then cut into rounds with a cookie cutter. Baked in 10 minutes at 200C (fan) resulted in Light, fluffy and very delicious 'biscuits'.
    Here in the UK, I think we would call them scones rather than biscuits but they taste great whatever you call them!

  4. I need help with the math. The self-rising flour (250 grams) is 11.32 net carbs (0.045283 net p/gram), 1c heavy cream is 8 net carbs and 25 grams allulose is 25 net grams. That makes the entire recipe 44.32 net grams. Divided by 9, that’s 4.92 net grams per biscuit. I’m using the exact ingredients listed in the video and I’m new to keto baking. Did I get the numbers wrong?

  5. Your biscuit recipe is THE BEST I have found in my 7yr keto journey, they are tender and light but, 1/4C suppose is just say too much and 450 for 10 mins they burn Maybe cut the alulose to 2 Tbl., Oven temp 400 for 10-15 minutes. The gravy was a little thin, I add an extra 2Tbl flour

  7. I made this for breakfast using my homemade turkey sausage meat. The gravy was amazing! As a northerner, I had no clue! I had leftover buttermilk biscuits (from your recipe) from yesterday's lunch, so I used them. The biscuits are amazing in their own right, but I think they are just a tad too sweet for this kind of yummy, savory gravy. I think I will try the biscuit recipe with a little less allulose and make up the difference with your perfected keto flour. The gravy thickened up nicely after 12 minutes at a very low boil. Thank you!

  8. I got a convection oven that I love and all say to lower temp by 25 degrees but my keto breads still brown too fast and are raw inside. Have covered with foil and cooked additional time and can't get keto breads done in middle without being burned on bottom. Any suggestions?

  10. A tweak to this. Bisquit and gravy needs onion. I always put at least half a chopped onion in in gravy. And add more pepper. Lots more pepper. Other than that amazing work. Awesome job.

  19. I love your new keto flour, Thank you , but I'm often confused after watching your videos. Not being an accomplished or even an experienced baker, I can't figure out how to modify the recipes. Like in this video I didn't hear how much butter?, and I don't want to use alluose but don't know if monk fruit could be substituted in the same amount for the same results?. Can I use a hand mixer rather than mixing by hand? , I have arthritis.
    I also wonder what i'm doing wrong when I make your yeast bread recipe. My bread doesn't come out with bubbles in it, it's kind of heavy and flat. Should I put it in the oven at a low temperature, to get it to rise? I had to look up ,proofing, I didn't know what that meant. I tried doubling the recipe to make it more of a bread shape instead of a pound cake shape. But I had no idea how long to bake it, 10 extra minute seemed right. It still doesn't come out with bubbles on, but it was bread shaped. Help?

  22. Nobody ever adds Legg sausage seasning to their sausage gravy. It adds a totally different dimension to the gravy. Try it.

I have been missing biscuits and I just got a recipe for 4 biscuits figured out: 1/4 cup Coconut Flour + 1/2 cup NIDO (or some other powdered milk) + 2 packet Stevia + 1 TSP Baking Powder, mix dry, + 1 egg + 1/4 cup Water, mix all ingredients, 350F for 18 minutes

  24. Q: did you drain off the excess fat from the sausage before adding the flour & butter? I know normally you would want the grease but it didn’t look like there were pan drippings in it before making the gravy. My Mom says I make my gravy with too much flour, it tastes a bit like paste -( not too badly but that my ratio of flour to grease is off). So I just needed to double check. I absolutely loved the blueberry muffin recipe. Shared some muffins with others – they also loved them. 😊

  28. Just made these for Thanksgiving and they were amazing! I usually do just pre-made gluten free flours from the grocery store and they are good, but i recently started keto and wow! These are the best biscuits i think ive ever had! Felt like they didnt even need butter because they were so delicious on their own but i did eat with butter and…….wow! Just so dreamy good! I cant wait to try other recipes! Im also so grateful you created a nut free option as my daughter is allergic to tree nuts and just using the almond flour makes me nervous so i think i will be trying the flax seed in the flour next! Thank you for your hard work in discovering how to make keto delicious for people! So many of us grew up on breads but now it has become a new discovered health issue for many!
