Wow, I’m sorry. I’d be furious. What’s the damage?

Oh no! That stinks. Please tell me whoever you bought it from is taking car of it with their shipping insurance! Synchronika is a beautiful machine when not waterlogged.

  3. Oh this is so unfortunate friend. I feel your disappointment. Sorry man.

Did it need a signature by any chance? My ECM classika from WLL was delivered by UPS on Wednesday and they left it out in the driveway when it needed a signature release…

Thankfully my gf was home that day and brought it in after 15 minutes. But still

This is brutal, hope they sort it for you.

It likely would have been fine if you let it dry out thoroughly before plugging it in. I’m not advocating people ignore damage received in shipment, but water isn’t the kiss of death. Electricity and water? Not good. Still, it looks like the PID started. I’d place it over a floor vent and leave it there for a week. I’d also pursue a damage claim against the shipper.

  7. Oops, why plug it in while it still wet????? Why???

I’m sure it required a signature on delivery. File a claim and ask for proof of delivery. Most likely the driver signed your name.

Damn. Did you by chance digitally sign for it? Usually with anything requiring a signature, I just divert to a pickup location instead of risking it being left at my doorstep.

Usually if it requires a signature it’s high value / urgent or both.

Next time have it delivered to a UPS/FEDEX shop and pick it up noice and dry.
