i have a presto 16 quart pressure canner and i purchased this 3 piece regulator. i thought it would fit since it was suggested, but it actually doesn’t fit.
first pic: 3 piece regulator next to the top of my pressure canner.
second pic: left side is the pressure regulator it came with and right side is the 3 piece regulator.
did i get the wrong kind? if so, which 3 piece regulator should i get?
also, does anyone want this 3 piece regulator that doesn’t fit my pressure canner?

By ‘doesn’t fit’ does that mean it doesn’t slide onto the vent tube?
Pic is kind of blurry but I don’t see the cone that is supposed to sit in the vent tube hole, sort of looks like a mfg defect.
Edit: I see the cone in the second pic, I think you just need to push it on with a little more force. They don’t just drop on unless they’re as well used as the original one maybe does. they sort of clip on.
