Siphoned tomatoes from pressure canning. Sealed but when pried off seal is messy with tomato pieces, advice ?

It’s fine, half full is (generally) good enough after siphoning. Label it EAT FIRST and enjoy your maters.

This happened to us. There was too much liquid in the jar, causing it to overflow, leaving to a messy seal. As long as you processed them at the correct pressure and time, and they did seal by themselves then there is nothing wrong with them.
