I’m just excited I got to eat at one of these places. 🙂

How does Le Bernardin keep fleecing people? I’ve eaten there a number of times and don’t think it deserves *** or to be anywhere NEAR the top spot. The three best places I have eaten at recently were Focus Atelier in Vitznau, St. Hubertus (now temporarily closed) in San Cassiano and Mirazur in Menton. Le Bernardin is not in the same galaxy as any of them yet it is always on top of lists. What sort of dirt does Eric Ripert have on people haha.

This is one of the dumbest list rankings tbh

Daniel’s 98 overall rating is well-deserved IMO. Exceptional food every single time.

Separately, I’m also very partial to Guy Savoy in Paris which has a spot near the very top of the list. I had an absolutely unbelievable meal there, the kind you think about for years after the fact.
