My attempt at a rather simple Chicken Pho look-alike. I first soaked the dry rice noodles in warm water until soft (2 minutes or so). Then fried the salted chicken meat and also the garlic, ginger and chili peppers. Put it all in the bowl and added chicken broth – done. Forgot to add lemon in the end, but was tasty nonetheless.

(My first attempt following a more authentic recipe used raw unseasoned beef and onion, but those didn’t cook well enough just in the broth and the meat was without any taste. This second try was much better.)
