Hey all, I recently waited in line and tried the new Prince Street Pizza that opened. Went for two very different options so to properly assess the quality. My thoughts are below:

I had heard these guys are very “Blue Lives Matter” and anti Black Lives Matter. Is that true? I’d rather just go to a different pizza place if that’s the case.

I thought this was going to be a shitpost about Hot n Readys 🙁

  3. Maybe they’ve figured it out by now but it’s been pretty trash since opening

  4. Nice review! I will echo your review, saying I was prepared to be disappointed after waiting so long, but was pleasantly surprised. One thing I will say though is that just like Joe’s in NYC near time square, I was annoyed that you pick from slices that have been sitting out, and then wait for the staff to reheat them in a separate oven. With the line ups as busy as they are I’d expect a faster turnover – give me a hot slice fresh out of the oven and I’ll be out of way toot sweet! Sure I get wanting to reheat a slice so the customer gets what they want hot, but it’s insane to me that a place like Prince Street has a tiny two deck oven for reheating the slices. When it appears that everyone waiting to get in has to wait an extra 10-15-20 min after ordering to have their slices heated up (group after group) it’s no wonder the line ups are so arduous. Yes most slice joints will do the same, but a place like Badiali has it down to a science. After ordering your slices there, you wait 5min tops before you’re out enjoying it.

Did you go to the school of BlogTO headlines 😂

Please put titles in headlines in the future. Easier to find spots but I guessed this was the spot you were referring to

Glad you gave it a try and it seems like we’ve come to similar conclusions. For me, their pepperoni is S-tier, but I would say their pizza is high B-tier, low A-tier. I personally wouldn’t wait in line for it again and the customer experience will get better when the rest of the store opens. Their variety is good to have in Toronto and their hype distracts away lines from Pizzeria Badiali.
