Somewhat recently I noticed the store front for Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt off 183 changed to Mala Chili. It’s in the parking lot of H Mart on the way into Cedar Park.
Yomie’s is still inside with all kids of drinks. Was told the owner of previous food kitchen SK BBQ is no longer involved and now both Mala Chili and Yomie’s is under the same owner.
I’d never had Jelly Rice Noodles ($10), really good and spicy with all the chili oil it’s served with. Probably should have gotten a protein but the veggie dumplings ($10) looked really good so I used that to soak up more of the chili. Lots more Sichuan cuisine on a pretty big menu.
Yomie’s is branded as Music Bar, all of which came from a huge TV pumping K-Pop music videos. Fun times!

I’ve been once. Every dish was stellar. (Chongqing Jiangzhao boiled fish, Spicy Chicken, Dry Fried Spicy Sliced fish, Cucumber Salad, Shredded Potato, Jelly Rice Noodles was the order.) I wouldn’t hesitate to order any of the items again. I’m looking forward to going back and exploring the menu further. They have an extensive amount of interesting looking dishes.
That spot has a string of short lived restaurants before this one. I hope this one lasts if they are serving good Sichuan food! One of the yelp reviews has a pretty tasty looking Chongqing Chicken…
Went here last weekend. The chongqing chicken was great, I definitely recommend!
Legend says restaurants in this location won’t last long.
Love this place!!!
I love this kind of spicy food for the cold weather
