Easy Honey Glazed Carrots

Wash carrots well. Boil 8-10 minutes until soft enough for a knife to easily pierce. Drain water from carrots. Melt the butter over the cook carrots and drizzle with honey.

  2. I make these with 2 Lbs. of baby carrots and three tablespoons of each: melted butter, dijon mustard and brown sugar all mixed together and poured over the cooked carrots.

  6. I started cooking my baby carrots with a generous helping of brown sugar. It makes them taste just like Cracker Barrel carrots and we love them!

  8. I learned this in culinary school 50 years ago…if a vegetable grows underground, you put it in cold water then boil. If it grows above ground, add it to already boiling water.

  10. I add some orange peel and ginger. Stir them up to glaze and top with a sprinkle of dried tarragon. Really,the tarragon adds a lot of flavor.
