  1. Holy moley! Sausage gravy in a can? What? Lol. Alright out in front of everybody… Got the haversacks Blackie. As promised. Very nice quality. Sis likes hers too. She's smart.

  2. I needed this video 30 years ago. I probably burnt six cans of biscuit as a kid trying to figure out how to cook them in a skillet. Once I got it figured out, it was a game changer as far as camping goes for a 13 year old!

  3. Thanks Blackie! biscuits and gravy is one of my all time favorite breakfast meals, I suppose it would be good for anytime of day. I was doing it the hard way using powdered gravy mix, frying up the sausage separately and baking the biscuits in my Coleman folding oven over the stove. I would only make it when I was on a weeklong car camping trip, because it took so long to make. I will definitely do it your way and be able to enjoy it more often now. I'll have to search for that canned sausage gravy! I don't recall ever seeing that at the store, only the powdered stuff. Appreciate it 👍👍

  4. biscuits and gravy is something I've always wondered about but I'll never see it it just don't exist over here

  5. Hey Blackie, always enjoy your videos. This one looks delicious. From one cardiac patient to another though, that canned gravy is "loaded" with sodium. Not good for the ticker!!!

  6. I do the same thing blackie but I had a little bit of sausage with it grown up sausage and makes it looks it makes it even better a little bit of bacon on the side

  7. Everyone loves biscuits and gravy! Two weeks ago, my wife and I went to Texas to cook for 7 hungry wild hog hunters. First night’s supper was a 12-inch cast iron skillet full of sausage gravy served over buttermilk biscuits. Good video, Blackie!

  8. its so easy to make gravy why would anyone want canned? And I guess biscuits and gravy is different in Oklahoma, growing up mom baked the biscuits made the gravy then we spilt the biscuit buttered both halves and ladled the gravy on them… oh well to each their own

  9. Hi Blackie! That is some of that "stick to yo ribs" kind of grocery. For some reason I am hungry now.

  10. Thank your tutorials. You gave one of your great ideas on Marble 3 blade trapper knife one of the blades is perfect for cleaning fish.
Honestly, that knife is my game/fish go to knife. Yep, I even field dressed a deer.
I'd love to see you do a video on The
    (Sunfish- Elephant toenail) pocket knife.

  11. Hey Blackie,
I was wondering, since that Biscuit and gravy is kinda hard on my stomach, and somertimes even rougher on my colon, can you recommend a particular brand of toilet paper or maybe the best ply count? I've found 2 ply or even single ply works better than the thicker stuff at getting the job done when that gravy kicks in a running. Also, being new to your channel and trying to catch up on watching and learnin from your videos, is that a sheet metal tent you use and how many will it sleep? Us Louisiana boys is always the last to get the good stuff or even hear about it. Keep em coming Blackie!

  12. Good looking breakfast,Blackie🎉 I love the Southgate canned goods. My local Dollar-and-A-Quarter Store has them. I enjoy the beef stew at the end of a long day, when I don’t want to actually cook something. Thanks for sharing!

  13. Good video. We like biscuits and gravy. Like Brown gravy. Turkey gravy. Oh stuffing and sausage and gravy. Great stuff. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.

  14. I just got the new 10" Pathfinder skillet. If you have the broiler rack from the 8" skillet I've found that it can be wrapped with foil and placed in the 10" one giving you an oven shelf with plenty of room above for your biscuits to rise and not burn on the bottom. That way you don't have to flip them.

  15. Made me hungry, as a New England resident, we don’t eat this enough. Don’t know why, gotta change that, especially in the cold winter
