Minestrone Soup (6 servings)
¾ cup diced onion
½ cup sliced celery
½ cup carrots
1 zucchini, sliced
2 tsp minced garlic
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can white beans – drained, rinsed
1 can kidney beans – drained, rinsed
4 cups vegetable broth
¼ cup tomato paste
2 tsp italian seasoning
½ cup frozen green beans
½ cup small shaped pasta
2 cups baby spinach
Protein Pancake Bake (4 servings)
1 cup kodiak cakes (any flavor)
1 cup liquid (protein shake, almond milk, or any liquid of your choice)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
Mix and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

I don't like kidney beans, so I never would have known that about the sugar! Thank you so much for the info. I wonder if the sugar helps them retain their color, shape, or texture? If I'm making chili or something that calls for kidney beans, I always get the ones labeled "small red beans". I love how your pancake bake turned out!
