My sister wanted “mom’s cake” from animal crossing for her birthday, so I attempted. I think I did a decent job considering this was my first time baking a cake ☺️🐱🍓

It’s a chocolate chiffon cake (recipe from @justonecookbook) with strawberry cream frosting. More strawberry cream for the middle, strawberry puree, and fresh strawberry slices in the center. Mini Oreos for the cats eyes, crushed Oreos to make the mouth. Cut strawberries for the ears and whiskers. The sides are decorated with smarties.
