This pie is from Florence where I had some of my favorite pizzas ever. Florence does bread and dough very well (even the unsalted florentine bread is delicious) so of course they make great pizza.
I was shocked to see how many people on this sub enjoy blasphemous pizzas with dumb shit on them. Should I leave this sub, is it really just a place where sophistication and taste goes to die? Or are there others in here like me who understand that chicken and pineapple do not go on pizza? I cannot be in the minority here…

You might be happier on r/Neapolitanpizza
Have to agree. That is spot on.
This pizza looks amazing
Regardless, people should like whatever they want and it won’t make them superior nor inferior to you because you like eating different things.
Our taste is influenced by so many factors including culture, socioeconomic state etc.
How do you get those burnt bubbles on the crust like the big one at 8 o’clock?
I am also trying to make a perfect pizza, and would like those burnt bubbles all over my crust. My dinner guests always complain that my crust doesn’t have any burnt bubbles and doesn’t taste like charcoal briquettes.
This is definitely more my style then like, jalapeños with 3 kinds of meat or some bizarre concoction sauce squirted all over the top from a squeeze bottle, but pizza is all about doings what ya like I guess. Live and let live, but I agree with you.
It looks like garbage. 5 random leafs with some sporadically placed cheese.
Damn bros a pizza fascist. And you are 110% in the minority here.
What you eat don’t make me shit.

Just leave the sub. Get off the pizza high horse and stop gatekeeping what goes on pizza. Most pizzas look good or great, and people are just trying to be creative
What’s the name o the spot in Florence?
Looks alright but that cheese distribution is horrendous

It’s food. A matter of taste; literally.
> Should I leave this sub
Do you want to?
> Or are there others in here like me who understand that chicken and pineapple do not go on pizza?
Food goes well with some other food. Who would’a guessed..

As a lover of neapolitan? Most definitely not. As a gatekeeper? Probably.
