Sweet and salty! Who doesn’t love that?
Light and fluffy donuts, sweet maple syrup glaze and salty bacon bits.
INGREDIENTS:
DOUGH
1 cup warm milk
2 tsp. active dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
2 pcs. eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
MAPLE GLAZE
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 – 3/4 cup powdered sugar/ confectioner’s sugar
2-3 Tbsp. milk
* measurements may vary according to consistency.
1- 1 1/2 cup cooked bacon,
chopped into bits/ pieces
vegetable/ canola oil for frying
Yield: 16 doughnuts
