So whilst we were on board the prima a lot of people said they thought the buffet was too small, what do you think?
If it was small the quality and daily variety of the food more than made up for it

I thought the 'muffin girls' might get a mention! Every morning a group of staff came around handing out pastries and coffee and singing to guests. They were great!

Dear Stacey and Kev – I'm a new subscriber and I'm really enjoying these videos! They're so helpful and enjoyable at the same time! You two are so lovely and sincere. We're probably booking on a last minute trip on the Viva next Monday (it's last trip in Europe before heading to the US) so these videos are particularly useful. We've never done Norwegian before and the last few cruises I've done have been pretty high end so the food has to be pretty great on Viva/Prima, otherwise I wouldn't be going. I agree that food is a very important part of a cruise holiday – particularly because unfortunately I am the painful person with allergies. Thanks again – Claire from Australia. xx
I've said the same in your earlier Indulge review: I appreciate that you put a review of all three meals for a food venue in a single video! We're on Prima in a month, and it's SO helpful to see all the offerings so we can plan when to eat where. You are the only "cruise" (travel) channel I've found that does this–thank you! As a new subscriber, I really enjoy your fun, casual style!

Yum, a shrimp po boy!
I am drooling waiting for that Steak and SHRIMP (Prawns). Ive had Prawns in Spain and they are always double the size of USA shrimp, but the ones you had whether cocktail or garlic shrimp were a nice size to really enjoy the meat in more than one bite with some. If the garlic shrimp are cooked longer than they should they will have more garlic flavor, but might shrink. January 12th won't come fast enough!
It doesn't look to small, but I guess it may be with the number of passengers on board. If it's really crowded later in the morning, I can see where that may be a problem! The breakfast and lunch items did look tasty though. Like you, we'd probably try to hold it to two visits per day as we can only hold so much food. Dinner looked wonderful with plenty of options and my personal favorite, Banana Cream Pie! The steak and shrimp looked wonderful. Have you been to Las Vegas? They have some wonderful buffets and some not so much. But, you pay for them today. At one time they were really cheap as the casinos offered rooms, free drinks, inexpensive shows and food, just to keep you in their casinos! While we didn't really gamble to much or drink we would go for a really cheap vacation when we were younger. The flights were cheap too! Sadly today that has changed, but it still hasn't hurt the crowds. We enjoyed seeing the buffets and their different options, Stacey and Kev. Thanks for the tour.

I’m currently on Valiant Lady, and had a conversation with someone yesterday who reckons that the new NCL ships do the ‘buffet’ much better than Virgin do with their galley.
It looks excellent – I’d be inclined to agree from this video – it looks excellent!
