How do you Italians make toast with cheese? In which type of toaster?
I heard several weeks ago that they use the one on the right putting the cheese in two slices of bread.

The one on the left.
The one on the right is almost impossible to buy in Italy

The first one, and we just call it “un toast”- not toast with cheese.

I had both, i prefer using the one on the left since chese when melted won’t fall inside the tester or at least falls in the grill and can be cleaned

The one on the right is meant to toast only bread, but there are similar toasters that can be used to make “sandwiches” with bread and cheese. Instead of pushing up the slice there is some kind of frame that you can take out. Like this one https://amzn.eu/d/aHyyFwR Or we can go with the one on the left. I use the kind that I linked.
