Recipe: Combine 100g 0,1% yoghurt with 100 ml water. While giving it a mix with an electric hand mixer/whisk add 2.5-3g of guar gum. Add your sweetener of choice and mix until it thickens (should take around 2 mins). And your done:) It’s super simple and the consistency is basically like the Joghurt before (or even a bit thicker and creamier) but double the volume. I included which yoghurt brand I used + nutritional info. I also used apple strudel sweetener and it was so good with a bit of cinnamon. I want to try and do this recipe next with skyr or quark for more protein.

But at what cost.
Thinning yogurt with water is genius! You could even use coconut water if you wanted some electrolytes. What great hack – thank you OP!

I always add volume to my yoghurt, I have this blended mix made with konjac flour, flavour powder, guar, psyllium and I add it to my yoghurt with some water. And I know the yoghurt you’ve used, just like that it’s not that great, but adding stuff to it makes it better.
Oh a fellow german mate here? Just guessing based on that yoghurt you use. I like that one too as it’s kind of the lowest calorie yoghurt you can find over here. You need to use an electric hand mixer though, as manually whisking it won’t distribute the guar gum as well right? Also how is that apple strudel sweetener? It sounds delicious!
i usually do the same thing but ice instead of water, makes a frozen yogurt type thing, especially if you put it back in the freezer for like 20 min.
works with protein pudding as well, delicious.
