Afghan Manto Written Recipe :
Ingredients:
For Dough:
Flour 250 grams
Salt 1 tsp
For the Filling:
Beef mince 250 grams
Salt 1 tsp
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
Chopped onion 1 (small)
For the Topping:
Grams (boiled) 2 cups
Yogurt kg
Oil 2 tbsp
Chopped Red Chillies 2 tbsps
Salt 1 tsp
Method:
Make the dough with flour, salt, and water in flour. keep it aside for 1 hour. Spread the dough on a sheet and cut into 3-inch square pieces. Now mix all the ingredients of the filling well fill the square pieces of dough with it and steam it in a steamer for 20 minutes and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan and fry gram and salt for 3 minutes. Now put the mantu on a plate and pour the chickpea on top. Then spread curd over the manto. Now heat oil in a pan add chopped red chillies and cook for a minute, spread on top of mantu, and serve hot.
