I’m wondering if this topokki is still edible as I got it a while ago and didn’t realize the date had already passed. Is it still safe to eat?

I’d eat it. The sauce is powdered, so it’s probably fine. The rice cakes might be a bit stale is my guess.

Almost all dates on non-refrigerated products are “best by” freshness indicators, not “turns into poison immediately after” dates. people throw away SO MUCH perfectly good food by misunderstanding this.

It’s designed to be shelf stable. My favorite brand of instant topokki.
