Cream Corn From A Can

Ingredients I used:
½ cup green pepper, diced
½ cup yellow onion, diced
3 Tbsp evaporated milk
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
¼ cup sugar
15 oz can of whole kernel sweet corn, drained
15 oz can of cream style sweet corn
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
Dash of pepper to taste

Preparations: (double or triple recipe if needed)

On medium heat in a skillet, add butter then melt. Once melted add bell peppers and yellow onion, then sauté for 2 minutes. Add cream style sweet corn and whole kernel sweet corn to skillet. Stir and blend well. Add salt, garlic and pepper, then stir. Next add evaporated milk and sugar, stir again. Cover with lid and cook for 25 minutes on low heat. Check in between to make sure corn is not sticking. Makes about 4 servings.

  1. Yes, when food gets costly, we must improvise. Get back to scratch cooking. I don't buy hardly anything from a box or bag and buy the cheap stuff.
For a light meal I love cream corn on buttered toast! My husband says I'm gross. Lol…
I hate electric stoves! I burn everything!

  2. I'm making this right now. I only had 1 can creamed corn…so I'm subbing with a can of butter beans instead of regular corn. I also don't have green pepper so I'm using jalapenos instead. Fingers crossed that it turns out good! ….Update. It turned out sooo tasty! Thank you, for the inspiration! And I loved your video! XOXO! Dawn

  3. You know who triggered all this inflation, right? A democrat! Remember that when you vote! Don’t listen to what they say, watch what they do. Lots of people are struggling, but are still fooled because they believe the lies they hear on TV!

  4. Thank you so much for your wonderful recipe for creamed corn. I ran into your videos today, and I think you are very entertaining. Greetings from Australia.

  5. This Lady I really like the way she talks about how high the food costs are and I love the way she cooks the creamed corn – Loved it.
