I put in a pound of Supergreens which is one container. It has kale,spinach, chard and arugula in it. All high nutrient veggies!! I add a little fruit, cinnamon and cacao to sweeten it!! Wife here. I went whole food plant based almost 4 years now. I wanted to mention to you I heard Dr. Barnard mention flax for men issues getting prostate cancer link w flax. so not advising for them so hubby may want to stick to chia only ?
I heard you can’t digest Flax seeds say you’re better off with hemp hearts or ground Chia seeds

Nice, informative video, but please do some research on the acid/alkaline thing. The theory has been thoroughly debunked by scientific research. I speak as someone who clung to the idea for decades. I also want to add that flaxseeds are useless unless they're ground or soaked. Maybe you guys know that, but you didn't mention it. One more thing…
Nuts are actually supposed to be GOOD for people with cardiovascular issues. Soaking them at least 12 hours reduces the fat by at least 20%.

It’s VERY easy to be plant-based with Indian food… 😊. I would just swap the wheat things for gluten-free flours, etc. Because Indians do use a lot of wheat for a lot of recipes…naans, rotis, Bhatura, fried snacks, etc.
Great video and inspirational to watch! About ordinary lettuce: Quite some wfpb folks mention that it has almost zero nutritional value which is def. true compared to arugola or other veggies. However…do not underestimate the power of moist. So when your not keen on drinking loads of liquids (which can occure during older age), adding lettuce can be one of several great ways to help you stay hydrated. xx

I add five tbsp of flax seeds to my water and lemon in the morning with half a tsp of cinnamon. U can add honey if you like. They say lots of raw veggies and smoothies and a whole cup of flax seeds in the smoothie cures deseases. A smoothie would be with leafy greens. Kale. And frozen fruit like mangoes or berries
