Beef patties with raisins and cinnamon

Y’all, I gotta tell you about my fave Moroccan dish! These melt-in-your-mouth beef and raisin patties with cinnamon are just heaven on a plate. I first tried them as a teen and have been obsessed ever since.

Here’s my secret to the most tender, juicy patties ever. I grind 1⁄2 kilo beef twice so it’s silky smooth. Then I add lots of fresh parsley and cilantro with 3 sweet onions I slowly caramelize into a jam.

But what really takes the flavor up a notch is 200 grams of sweet, golden raisins! Don’t skimp on them. And my secret spices are ras el hanout, turmeric, cinnamon, cumin and ground black pepper that give these patties the taste of the Marrakech streets.

Truth is, I could eat these patties every day. They just transport me. So come travel to Morocco with me and these incredible flavors and aromas!
