Suddenly all are getting on the " less food" source of info but all of these spout out different types of food shortage. Frankly I think that this " food shortage" is a rush to judgement on the state of food availability!! I see no reason to panic at this point " mid October "

I agree, list is the same most of the time. Give us some thing new😮
Canned tomatoes, canned tuna, rice, dried lentils, dried fruits, dried beans, apple cider vinegar, canned chicken, jerky, frozen meat. Here's my take on this list. Canned meat will last longer. Yes the content repeats in videos. But think of various people in various stages of food storage. Some of us are old hats at this while others are brand new and everything in between. Do yourself a huge favor and can your own meat. You'll need a pressure canner and canning jars. Even with that said, once you get those basics, you'll Watch be set for decades. Watch the grocery store sales for your meat then get extra when it's on sale for canning. Watch canning videos ahead of time so you understand how to do it safely, then you'll never look back. Also as one commented, there's no need to go broke and buy a ton at a time. There is no reason to panic. A little bit at a time really does work. I also advise to go to the dollar stores for staples like rice and dried beans. Look up how to make several recipes using the foods that you buy. Keep in mind to NOT buy too much at any given shopping trip. It's best to buy enough to work with and can, but you don't want to draw attention to yourselves. Be the gray man and blend in. It'll keep you and your family safe. I hope this helps some of you who are newer at this.
Grains :oats, wheat, rice, millet and barley. If bought in bulk it can stretch for this next winter season.
