Got these cheese packets at a restaurant in Italy and almost did a spit take when I checked the calories after pouring one on my pasta.. Realized it says per 100g but the packet doesn’t say how many grams 🤦🏻♀️ the European calorie calculation is going to be the death of me.

398 cal per 100 is a very standard amount for cheese!
The packet looks like this product I found online, which has 5 grams per packet: https://www.brazzale.com/en/project/grana-padano-100g-grattugiato-brazzale/
That would mean each packet has 20 calories of cheese.
This doesn’t look wild to me. 100g is almost 4oz of cheese, and I think most cheese I’ve seen is in the range of around 100kcal (give or take) per ounce.
