Teriyaki salmon bowl

There’s no set rules with this recipe, use whatever vege you need to use up in your fridge or what looks the best at the market that day. For the rice, I like to use sushi rice and season it with sushi rice seasoning which you should be able to get in most supermarkets. As for the fish, I used salmon tonight but you can use whatever fish you would like, however I think the oiliness of salmon works well with the sweet teriyaki sauce.

Teriyaki sauce

Ingredients

– 40ml saki
– 40ml mirin
– 50ml soy sauce
– 10g honey (or sugar works fine also)
– Small piece ginger, grated

Method

1. Dust your fish in corn flour and pan fry
2. In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients above.
3. When the fish is 70% cooked add the sauce and reduce by 1/2 or until it sticks to the fish nicely.
4. Plate your rice, fish and vege in a bowl. You can even make your own little mushroom radishes – babe seemed impressed by them ๐Ÿ˜

  2. I have learned so much about cooking foods since I found your channel, amazing, as if cooking is soo easy and appetizing and vegetables are not just a garnish, what a gold both of you, decisive babe and a champion master chef, Andy๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Man, cook something different for once. You only eat Asian food and weird british dishes. Cook something from Azerbaijan, Uruguay, Iceland… Otherwise – ramen, rice, spaghetti, shepheds pie, pancakes, fish. All you cook.

  4. Oh, now I see the difference between Babe and Mitch in their choices of meals they enjoy. Babe definitely has a diverse and expansive library of meals she enjoys. Amazing!
