My old one is too small and is a “dumb” cooker with only Low/High/Warm settings.
My main hesitation with this one is I tried slow cooking in an Instant Pot once and it turned out horrible so I’m not sure if I should stick with another barebones unit.

I have one. Works same as normal crock pot but haven’t tried any of the other functions yet.
I have it and it works well. Haven’t tested all the functions yet
There is no need for it to be “smart.” It’s the most simple appliance
Seems expensive for a crock pot. You can always stick a timer in your socket if you want to delay start.
I have one and love that I can sear the meat prior to slow cooking without dirtying another pan. I haven’t tested any fix times beyond slow and sear though.
I have one. Have been recommending to family. Love it. Huge crock pot. And you can sear in it. I hate doing dishes. Having one less pan to clean because I can sear right in the pot before making something is AMAZING. Also the metal basin is much lighter than the ceramic ones. Easier for my wife to clean in the sink. Get it. You won’t regret it.
My only wish was that it had clamps to hold down the lid. We often travel with the crock pot to family members houses. would be nice not to worry about it sloshing around and making a mess in the car.
I hate these “smart” crock pots tbh. More can fail on them. I’ve had 3 other crock pots that have screens on them, and the heat from the device always messes up the main screen and board over time. Meanwhile my classic crock pot with only a dial for high, low, and warm thats over 10 years old is still going strong to this day.
I have one similar that’s a crock, smoker, roaster, etc. old crockpot ALWAYS does so much better!
