

I’ve gotten into cooking Korean food, a huge maangchi fan and also ahmestkitchen. Any tips on using this? I purchased accidentally and unable to determine how to use it! Is it supposed to be diluted to make soup or is it more an enhancer?

58 servings in that bottle, I’m thinking it’s a concentrate and you’ll need to dilute it. Should make for a good noodle broth.
use 2-3 spoons per pot of soup. to taste. depends on recipe but you usually use it with some soup soy sauce, garlic, onions, etc to make the base. i recommend clear potato soup (맑은 감자국), soft tofu soup (순두부찌개), banquet noodles (잔치 국수), hand-cut noodles (칼국수), dumpling soup (수제비), etc. i think many ddeokbokki recipes also use it in the sauce.
Basically it’s msg so you can use it pretty much on anything savoury to make things taste better.
