Impress this holiday season with my Crab Cake Poppers Recipe! Perfectly seasoned crab meat, dredged in panko breadcrumbs then, fried until golden brown for the ultimate crunch!

Crab Cake Popper Ingredients
oil for frying
2 oz. cream cheese softened
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 egg lightly beaten
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Cedar wood smoked seafood seasoning or Cedar plank salmon seasoning
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb crab meat
1/3 cups shredded mozzarella
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp finely chopped chives
3/4 cups panko bread crumb
3/4 cups pinko bread crumbs dredging
salt + ground black pepper to taste
parmesan cheese for garnish
parsley chopped (for garnish)
Aioli Sauce
1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 1/2 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
Add smoked paprika for smokiness or cayenne for spiciness
Notes freeze for 30 mins.- 1hr before frying.
Oil needs to be 350F
Deep fry for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Appetizer for the holidays not to mention New Year’s so without further Ado come on guys let’s introduce these ingredients and get to cooking here’s the ingredients for today’s recipe first ingredient on our list is our special crab meat now here’s the thing if you want to use lump crab for
This recipe you definitely can however special is a little bit cheaper and a little bit more feasible for most people right we’re also going to use some mozzarella cheese along with some seasonings we have salt ground black pepper along with old based seasoning we’re also going to use some of my cedar
Wood smoke seafood seasoning as well which is going to bring out a lot of flavor we have lemon juice of course Mayo along with cream cheese and egg did I say lemon juice guys wor Shar sauce uh garlic clove parsley chives parmesan cheese this is the bottle parmesan
Cheese and this is just going to be for garnish and we also have some panko breadcrumbs and that’s about it guys let’s get it first thing I want to add to our bowl is our Mayo we’re going to make our sauce first come on Mayo let’s go we’re also going
To add our cream cheese and the cream cheese needs to be room temperature as you can see it’s so much easier to manage I’m just going to smash it on out I want to blend it really good before I add the other ingredients with the mail perect Perfect all
Right okay that’s it we’re also going to add our wor Sher sauce along with our lemon juice an egg we’re also going to add our Old Bay little pinch of salt and pepper when it comes to the Salt and Pepper you can always go back and add I’m also
Going to add some of my Cedarwood seafood seasoning as well it’s going to bring a nice Smoky element to these crab cake poppers adding a small amount of seasonings go a long way especially when it comes to Seafood all right we’re going to keep mixing make sure everything is broken
Down and we’re going to have some fun all right we’re going to add our crab meat of course get the this other one be sure to shake off or should I say be sure to drain off any excess liquid that may be in a can because you know
Consistency guys we don’t want a lot of liquid inside of the mixture I’m not going to worry too much about breaking the crab meat down simply because it’s not lump crab now if it was lump crab of course you know I would definitely tell you to fold it in but
Because this is special it’s already broken down I’m not going to get on you if you break this down even more all right perfect we’re going to add a couple more things and before you know it we’ll be almost done we’re going to add some parsley to our mixture for a little color
Vibrancy just chop it up really small this is perfect all we’re going to add our parsley and we’re going to go in with our garlic we’re going to place it on the garlic press if you have minced garlic even better let combine the parsley and the
Garlic we going to add some chives as well just a small amount goes a far away as well we’re going to add some mozzarella cheese and we’re going to add our panko breadcrumbs I’m going to add a small amount of panko I want to make sure that we have
The right consistency always start off with a little bit and then you can always go in and add more if necessary we’re going to form the crab meat into like little balls so I want to make sure that we have the perfect consistency if you grab a piece of

To compliment these crab meat poppers I’m listen here I’m the same girl that invented shrimp stuffed crab cakes okay I was just literally thinking how could I reinvent crab cakes and something outside of the traditional crab cake and I came up with with shrimp stuffed crab
Cakes and I figured hey if we could do the crab uh if we could do the shrimp stuffed crab cakes why can’t we do Lobster as well so I went out and combined the two and we also came up with shrimp and lobster stuffed crab cake talk about an expensive appetizer
Right and believe you me the tastes absolutely delicious it takes crab cakes to a whole different level no doubt about it I’m going to place the crab meat poppers into the freezer I’m going to freeze them for about 30 minutes and I would advise you not to
Skip that step because once your uh crab meat poppers hit the oil you don’t want them to like literally break into like a 100 pieces you don’t want it to disintegrate so the best thing to do is make this ahead of time place it into the refrigerator for about 30 to 30
Minutes to an hour to make sure they’re nice and solidified before frying it up now when it comes to baking yes I’ve baked crab cakes but I’ve never baked crab cake poppers mhm you know hence the fact with the breadcrumbs and all that stuff so I’m
Not going to sit here and tell you that you can bake it I believe you can but like I said I’ve never had time to test that part of the recipe out however you can air fry it and you can also um of course fry it in the deep fryer or you
Could fry it in a pan with a small amount of oil this is what our crab cake poppers look like after an hour of being in the freezer they are perfect check it out I’m not even able to like you know reform it basically it’s stuck in position anyway

Well let’s add some old based seasoning we’re going to add some of our favorite brand of barbecue sauce also going to add some lemon juice give it a good stir make sure everything is perfectly combined and this is something that I just made up but let me tell you
Something it’s going to compliment these crab cake poppers really well flors add a small whole drip drop of agave now Agave is very sweet agave nectar that is is very sweet so a small amount will definitely take you there just going to mix that on
Up as well this is it right here guys give it a quick taste see if you need to make any adjustments maybe you need to add a little bit more old bait or even a little bit more barbecue if you want to make your sauce spicy you could
