One of 3 plates. The scorpion with maple syrup was awesome.

Oh my god, this sounds so good! I love biscuits and gravy but have never thought to make it spicy for some reason other than using hot sausage

Sounds amazing, but I can only imagine that you made this for some family breakfast and you didn’t realized you used reaper powder until grandma took a bite.

Ok, we have to talk about the biscuits.

As a Southerner, Biscuits and Gravy is a staple. Made by our Memaw’s and fed to us as soon as we can chew. It’s something we take pride in and hold it in reverence.

I say this with all sincerity. You can tear down confederate statues, stop playing country music, even call us “stupid inbred hicks”.

What you cannot do, good sir, make biscuits and gravy with whomp biscuits from a can.

Get yourself some self-rising flour, some buttermilk, and some crisco, then watch this video to take your Biscuits and Gravy game to the next level.

I’ve accidentally used Dragon’s Breath powder like it’s cayenne before. Luckily it was just a little bit in a dish that wasn’t supposed to be “spicy,” so my husband could basically eat it.
