As we all recently made a Kenji’s reverse seared prime rib for Christmas here’s a leftover beef katsu using Kenji’s recipe for his tonkatsu but swapping the pork for beef

So… you don’t just stand in the fridge cutting off pieces periodically for two or three days until it’s gone, never actually eating a regular meal?

Oooh I love this. We did beef dips last night, I made broth today and beef barley soup tonight. And French onion tomorrow night.

Mashed potatoes and country gravy and you’ve got a chicken-fried steak.

  4. We made some cheesesteak-y sliders with the leftovers, so damn good.

What the shit is, “leftover prime rib?”

  6. So far with the leftovers i’ve added it with a japanese curry & omurice and a french dip sandwich (using a red wine sauce from the drippings).

Still got some left, this idea looks great too. God i love having good quality leftovers to level up regular food.
