Will love you for this recipe here’s the ingredient you’re going to need you’re going to need some chicken you can cook some chicken the day ahead of time you can boil some chicken or you can do like I’m doing is I went to my local market and picked up a rotisserie chicken okay
So this is nice and cold okay you’re going to need some veggies you can use onion and celery today I’m just going to be using celery if we make our way this way you’re going to need some party bread here and we’ll talk about this a

Beautiful chicken salad okay so now here’s what I like to do we’re going to take off all the skin just like so in this manner you definitely don’t want the skin in your recipe right but we’re going to um get all of this beautiful meat just like so and then you can pull
It apart with your hands like this in such a way or you can run through it with a knife like I’m going to do to get it to bite size okay so we’re going to get this deboned and take all of the skin off and just of it and when I come

Two but if you start off in the beginning with too much you kind of mess it up because you can’t take away right so let’s mix up this see how happy we are with the consistency and then if we need more then we can add more let’s

Are we happy with the consistency so let me show you the consistency that I’m looking for so it’s perfect it’s not going to be too wet it’s not going to make your bread soggy it’s not going to be too dry take a look let me grab my soft spatula so you can
Really see what we’re looking for look it took it beautiful consistency okay and so now we’re going to season and guess what I’m not going to do I’m not going to be afraid to season nice amount of garlic powder go in with the garlic powder onion powder too even if you’re
Using onions okay we’re going to put some black pepper not too much and then we’re going to go in with salt okay just a little bit of salt keep in mind that your uh rotisserie chicken really does have some salt in it okay so we’re going
To mix this and I want you all um we’re going to talk about this pumper nickel bread it’s a party bread and my family growing up I used to see this a lot during the holidays whether they were making some type of sandwich and I absolutely love the flavor so now only
Time around the year at the local markets you can usually find these around the holidays because it’s used to make holiday sandwiches it smells so good and it tastes so good but let’s just say you can’t find it get you some regular pumper nickel bread or rye bread
This is the seeded uh seedless rye bread and I’m going to show you how to cut this to make it look like this and then you stack them on a platter everybody’s happy this stuff right here it goes fast so now what we’re going to do let’s go

Here so now no we’re not going to waste bread guess why excuse me because this can be turned into bread crumbs just put it it into a freezer B and you don’t have to waste it okay you don’t have to waste it all right beautiful there you go cute sandwiches
And they taste good and you know what here’s the thing I like to use different breads that taste good I also like to use a sourdough bread but if you don’t like the breads that I use use your favorite bread you might like an Italian bread or whatever you like have fun

It is 46 degrees and sunny here still snow on lawn. And some icy spots on the roads here in Georgetown,Ky. I love this chicken salad recipe and the way you can use different breads to give different flavor aspect tot he sandwiches. Also, I would put some chicken salad aside and add buffalo sauce or a hot sauce mixed into it and let folks know that they are spicier than the rest by putting red toothpicks in these sandwiches and green toothpicks in the non- spicy sandwiches. That salad looks delicious. Pumpernickel bread was a family favorite when I little, my dad would buy it and we'd put cream cheese on it….super delicious. 🤤 But now it's hard to find, we use to get Twigs too they were finger size crackers they were recalled though years ago. They were the best with a veggie dip😊
