    OMFG! I don’t eat red meat much anymore, but today I did braised short ribs in the slow cooker. SOFA KING DELICIOUS. I got two words for you…. FALL OFF THE BONE & JUICY AS HELL! OK that was more than two words. The rub had salt, pepper, chili powder, basil & brown sugar. Cooked on low for nearly 7 hours.

    Recipe:

    3lbs. Short Rib

    5 large Russet Potatoes

    1 Sweet Onion

    1/2 lbs. Baby Carrots

    RUB ratio, make as much as you need:

    1/4 Brown Sugar

    1/4 Salt

    1/4 Basil

    1/8 Pepper

    1/8 Chili Pepper
