How to make delicious cheesy pasta primavera! Rotini, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in a semi-homemade beer cheese sauce. A wonderful and fairly quick casserole that’ll feed a family! If you prefer not to use beer, you can also use milk or cream. As well, if you want it vegetarian, omit the chicken bouillon. Or you could add diced up chicken for chicken primavera! The possibilities are endless!
What you’ll need:
1lb rotini pasta
1 (16oz) jar Ragu Double Cheddar Sauce
1lb bag California blend frozen vegetables, thawed
1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup light beer (or milk or cream)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp garlic powder
8oz shredded mozzarella cheese
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with 2-3 tsp salt. Add pasta and stir to separate. Lower heat so the pasta doesn’t boil over and boil for 10 minutes. Add the onion and thawed vegetables to the pasta and bring back to a boil and cook for an additional 5 minutes. If you like your pasta more al dente, reduce the original 10 minute cooking time by a few minutes. When pasta and vegetables are done, drain. In a large bowl, combine cheese sauce, beer, salt, bouillon and garlic powder. Whisk to mix well. Add to pasta and vegetables and transfer to a 9″x13″ baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350*F for 25-28 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned on top and casserole is bubbly. Let sit 10 minutes before serving. Serves 4-6. Enjoy!

Today I’m going to show you how to make cheesy pasta primavera pasta cauliflower broccoli and carrots in a semi homemade beer cheese sauce these are the ingredients that we’ll need and let’s get started I have a large pot of water on the stove and while I’m waiting for
That to come up to a boil I’m gonna go ahead and prep my vegetables I’ve got half of a yellow onion here and I’m going to roughly chop this up and I’m going to add it to a 1 pound bag of California blend vegetables which is cauliflower broccoli and carrots these
Are frozen vegetables that I’ve gone ahead and thought out now that my water is at a rolling boil I’m going to season this with a couple teaspoons of salt and I’m going to add in a 1 pound box that we’re teeny pasta while my pasta is
Cooking I’m gonna go ahead and make up the beer cheese sauce I’m gonna take a 16-ounce jar of this ragu double cheddar cheese sauce I’m just going to put this into a large bowl and I’m going to add in my garlic powder my chicken bullion as well as salt
And then I’m going to add in half a cup of light beer and I’m just gonna whisk this together and set this off to the side until my pasta is done now I like my pasta just a little bit softer than al dente so after about 10 minutes of
Boiling my pasta I’m going to add in my vegetables and I’m gonna turn the heat back up on high and bring this back to a boil and cook this for an additional five minutes and once my pasta and vegetables are done we’ll go ahead and drain those and return them back into
The pot and I’m going to add in my beer cheese sauce now if you’re worried about the beer Conte or the alcohol content in your beer cheese sauce you can by all means go ahead and put the sauce into a pan on the stove bring it up to a boil
And cook it for a few minutes and that’ll cook out any of the alcohol in the beer or you could just use milk or cream in place of it but it’s gonna go ahead and stir that sauce into my pasta and vegetables and then pour it into an
Ungreased glass nine by 13 baking dish then I’m going to top my Primavera with an 8 ounce package of shredded mozzarella cheese and I’m going to bake this in a 350 degree oven that has been preheated for about 25 to 28 minutes just until the cheese is melted and it’s
Nice and golden brown on top you don’t really have to cook it you just want to heat it through and melt that cheese and when it’s all done this is what it looks like looks delicious doesn’t it now you go ahead and let this sit for
About ten minutes just for the pasta to absorb some of the the sauce and let it set up a little bit and then go ahead and serve it up and that is how I make cheesy pasta primavera hope you guys enjoy and thanks so much for watching

I'm not big on beer but with cheese sauce…HAVE to! Makes it SO much better!
Thanks!! I usually do just mix everything together in the pot while the pasta and veggies are draining but for video purposes, it was easier using a bowl. Certainly the less dishes to deal with, the better!
Hope you enjoy!!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Ha ha…absolutely! Less dishes = more eatin' time. 😀
I love the California blend of veggies. Jason this looked so good. Hope you're having a great night. Hugs!
I have a ton of that veggie mix in my freezer and I can't wait to make this one. That is one easy recipe, and I already know my family will love it. I know I do already. Man that looks so good. It's even pretty too. You make some fantastic meals, I love them all.
I never thought I would make recipes from a youtube recipe, but hey, it's fun, and really good.

Love love love your chanel. Can you create something at the end of your videos to remind us to like the videos. I keep forgetting that would be so helpful
Yummy looking recipe but what is chicken bouillon? Is is just powder chicken stock? I'm in Australia not the USA so I have no clue what you are referring to but it looks like powder stock but I thought I had better ask just incase I'm wrong.
Will definitely be making this soon.
Looks so good I have to try this tonight
yum yum
Can it be better without beer? I want to make this without beer
Thank you soo much, you saved our Thanksgiving
I made this and left out chicken boullion n mine was not good
I was hoping this would be like the pasta from Valentinos. Similar, but thought it lacked flavor. I added a bit of cayenne and pepper. If I made again I would use more cheese sauce.
