Hi all!

I’m making a marble layer cake for a birthday soon and have just started doing research on recipes. I’ve made [Stella’s Devil’s Food Cake](https://www.seriouseats.com/bravetarts-devils-food-cake) in the past and loved it, and I wonder if it’s advisable to combine that with her Yellow Cake recipe from Bravetart (sorry I don’t have a link for this)? I worry that because they’re two different batters they may rise differently and the whole thing would just fail, but both recipes do call for a 350-degree oven. For people who are familiar with both of these recipes, do you think a marbled cake would work if I combined these two recipes?
