

Last several boxes have had leaking meat packages, this time 3 meat bags were leaking + a bag that had 1 cup of cream leaking all over. The cherry on top was Fedex delivered at 10:30pm lastnight, ignoring delivery instructions leaving the box on the street outside my building and didn’t even bother to buzz. Thankfully the box was still there in the morning. We live in the downtown area so there is plenty of unhoused people walking around the area and it’s truly a miracle the box was even there.

Whenever my box leaks blood customer service refunds the entire box. That’s beyond unsanitary.
FedEx Ground is the worst.
Nobody will load a box like that. I don’t believe that Hellofresh is to blame. It has to be happening during the shipping process.
I didn’t know my prawns were leaking until 2 days later in my brand new fridge… the smell.

Wow, that’s horrible! I’ve been very fortunate, my boxes are always packed well. The worst thing that ever happened was, a few weeks ago my goats decided to see what was in the box and ripped it to shreds and managed to eat some of the contents.
You know sometimes I get annoyed about something with my box but since I found this sub, I realized I get like royalty treatment compared to a lot of others.
I was loving Hello Fresh until we had 3 boxes in a row just ruined. Delivery was delayed by a couple days each time. Ice packs completely melted, packages leaking, proteins all spoiled. I was refunded each time but the inconvenience became too much.
Pretty bad when even the homeless take a look and say, “I’m not touching that.”

I did hellofresh for about 5 months, and every single package was well packed, and it was all good. I don’t understand
You can complain to HelloFresh to get some credit added to your account. P.S. The German customer support is terrible.

This is why we canceled. At first everything was packs well then a couple months in it went downhill.

I find it interesting how people’s experiences with HelloFresh are so varied. We just received box #220 today. I can honestly say there’s only been a few times that we’ve had issues. We’ve had the occasional punctured sauce packet and some dodgy produce, but all in all we’re pretty happy. Never had any missed deliveries, and I think there was only a single time where it was delayed until the next day because of a blizzard. We’re in Ontario, Canada and FedEx does our deliveries; it may be different elsewhere.
I don’t understand why they don’t put the meat in a ziploc? I do that before I put it in the fridge, but it’s disgusting when it’s leaking inside the box.
