Good hang out, they still have the old pictures of former Leafs up?

Terrible burgers, only good if you’re wasted at 3am 😂

I love the poutine

When the parents were still running the place their burgers were best in the city!

Not what it used to be

I went there once – I felt so out of place… felt like it was the go-to spot for Truckers and Bikers

This place definitely isn’t worth the high price.

One of those mediocre burger joints that people who grew up in the area insist are the best ever.

Meh. I’ve eaten there 100 times (proximity driven) and it is fine, nothing great.

I’ve eaten here once just because of the hype. No different than any other burger place.

I’ve been going there since the 80s. It’s good, a nice stop for a burger or hot dog, but not the best I’ve had.

Is it better than Steak Queen in Rex? T-bones in scarb?

The onion rings!!!

I’d go here more often if they accepted debit/credit. Makes this place go from an 8.5/10 to a 7.8/10

I go there for the burger. I actually like it more than most other burger places, and I’ve been to a lot that people recommend. But it is pricy and I will not be paying $5 for French fries.

I first ate there as a little kid in the 70s. Across the street at the time was G&B Burgers which was similar in style. It was the first burger joint I remember where I could choose my own toppings and that blew my mind.
Been back a few times since I returned to Toronto, and although it’s not as good as I remember, the nostalgia is still there.
