I love soup.

Tennessee, cost maybe $15 to make a soup pot full. But cost me nothing today… had everything laying around and some veggies that are going bad soon. Boyfriend’s mom gave us some canned food the other day.

Ingredients:
Carrots
Can of black eyed peas
Can turnip greens
Fork full of banana peppers
Baby potatoes that were a little questionable
Cherry tomatoes I don’t remember buying
Can diced tomatoes (always keep these in the pantry)
Can tomato paste
Chicken bouillon cube
Onions
Diced garlic
Tumeric, black paper, bay leaves, salt and pepper
Apple cider vinegar (the ultimate elevating ingredient for veggie soup I SWEAR)

This looks great. I’ll give the apple cider vinegar a try.

All that would cost maybe $8-10 for me here in ga. Looks yummy!

That looks really good. I’m going to try to replicate something like that after I go to the food bank. I’ve really been wanting some soup.

Great use of what you had, a nice filling meal. I hope you can find some starch to mix the remains with! Brothy veg rice is delicious.
