The gravy is too lightly colored and is depending on what is CLEARLY dried parsley to give life. The biscuits are NOT biscuits. I don’t know what to say about the chicken, except that the preparation makes it look canned.

This reminds me of home style chicken and dumplings, but the dumpling dough was subbed for biscuit dough – which is INCREDIBLY common where I’m from. It looks kind of grey and depressing but it’s the ultimate comfort food, and incredibly delicious. I regularly make homemade chicken and dumplings, and imo the biscuit dough is a mid substitute compared to dumplings, both are absolutely mouth watering.

I mean it probably tastes pretty good. I feel like it’s a bit unfair to call the diner itself trash, it just seems like they have some work to do when it comes to presentation and photos (though I’ve never been so who knows, maybe it is bad)
