Me and a friend visited Alghero in Sardinia in 2018 and had this as starter at a lovely little restaurant in town. It was so good we went back a couple of days later to have it again. It’s prawns wrapped in either pancetta or bacon with a sweet sauce. I’d love to know what it’s actually call. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have never heard of it, but here is an example recipe
Looks like american tater tots
Some 1980s trend that now is considered kitsch
Ron Swanson approves.
Looks delicious! Not every dish has a name, as not every dish has a particularly relevant history or tradition, it could probably just be “pancetta wrapped shrimps”.
It’s not a classic recipe.
