I was most impressed by these 2 bottles.
Compulsory tasting notes:
Pape Clement 2015:
Nose: Wood, cellar, citrusy.
Palate: Full, creamy palate of flavour, woody notes.
Finish: creamy, woody, full, slight honey notes.
9/10 very approachable wine.
François-Carillon 2014:
Nose: slightly fishy?, cellary and woody.
Palate: a bit more rough/harsh at first, yet more intense, cellary, developing into full-bodies creamy and woody notes.
Finish: Very balanced and interesting.
9.5/10 A much more interesting wine to sip and study than Pape, more depth of flavour as well, yet not as approachable for all.
The best white wine that I ever had!
Also, anyone has any clue why Emirates no longer post their wine list on their website?
(I doubt it’s because I tried every wine on the list…😂🍷)

Damn sight better than the BA First list someone posted the other day.
Wot, no Champagne!?
(nice list!)
Shit, now this is more like it
My ***guess*** is that different fights may have different wines depending upon what caterer is being used and where the plane is being provisioned.
[Emirates online wine list](https://www.emirates.com/us/english/experience/drinks/wine/winelist/?date=2024-02-07&flight=226&origin=SFO&destination=DXB&class=firstclass).
When I fly emirates I just tell them to bring me a quarter pour of one of everything.
Then hopefully the person can make a decent martini in the back
Also they probably don’t post wine online cuz that’s a lot of overhead / time of somebody to manage inventory. You fly the a380 world wide. The turnover is gonna be high. No value in keeping the list up to date.
Great wines, even greater movie choice!
so you can drink on their airplanes but not in their country?
How did they pair with that CGI pear that Anakin floats over to Padme
Kind of fascinated by the port.
I don’t fly often but are these on the house?!
