They are like 8 dollars a bottle now before it was under 5

  2. Conch-Republic

Huy Fong has like zero heat and twice as much sugar now.

Buy Underwood Ranches Sriracha. Yeah it isn’t the cheapest but it tastes must closer to the original. I saw a lot of posts and reviews and had to try it myself. They’re right. The peppers make it.

Relative to when this shit came out, it tastes so much worse now. I remember when it was on the market initially how unique and good it tasted. Over time between the recipe changes, pepper supplier issues, etc etc it just isn’t very good anymore imo.

Is there some sirarcha embargo or something going on where you are? This stuff’s a dime a dozen available in all grocery stores in Australia.

Seems like everyone likes to say that the flavor isn’t the same after the new pepper supplier, but it literally tastes the exact same to me.

Just got me two bottles not too long ago, I feel like it’s not spicy anymore. Maybe my tolerance level has gotten out of hand.

I dont get the sriracha hype. Always preferred Franks red hot or Franks red hot Extra heat

This stuff is my go to on a egg bacon cheese burrito

Ive never not seen Sriracha in the stores where i live

I found a brand called “Badia” that isn’t quite as good and a bit more spicy but close enough that I don’t want to dump it in the drain.

  12. I haven’t been able to find it in stores in a while. Granted, I’m not out looking for it specifically but whenever I’m grocery shopping I check and… Nothing. 🙁

Located in Canada, and it seems to be a bit of an issue here. Not many alternatives.

I bought some at grocery outlet for something yesterday. I don’t use it much so I just bought one

Unless you got them for free, I don’t get it.

What is the obsession I always see with this sauce. I tried it and hated it.

  16. FortuneBull

I don’t get it, is sriracha rare? A local basketball announcer in Chicago likes to use “Sriracha!” as a call. He also says “Gimme the hot sauce!”

  17. Coolchillgoodguy

Hell yeah. I will say tho that the Tabasco and Texas Pete branded ones are almost as good if you aren’t lucky enough to find your old rooster sauce at a decent price. With that said I’m looking forward to just buying this and the old chili garlic sauce like normal in the coming months

  18. Their chili garlic and sambal sauces are not bad

In some parts of the country, supply is low.

  20. ReflectionEterna

Yup. The shortage is over. I can get large bottles for $6, now.
