After 7 days of 1500 today I had 1600. My home made pulled pork and hamburger buns was my downfall.

That’s not blowing it. That’s being human. Striving for perfection is a sure route to failure. An extra 100 calories on one day still leaves you with a deficit for the week overall, and likely even for that day. Just slightly less of a deficit than what you’re targeting. If 100 calories over target one day a week keeps you on track long term, I see nothing wrong with that. Rock on.

I wouldn’t call 100 cal blowing it by any means. That looks fucking delicious and worth every tasty calorie!

You didn’t blow it. That meal looks incredible. Give yourself some grace. You are doing great.

I hope this is just a shit post where you’re covertly showing off that awesome sandwich rather than being down on yourself for a rounding error.

I wouldn’t get too hung up on it, you didn’t fail anything

If you really feel like having 100 kcals more than your goal for one day means “blowing it”, please seek professional help. That is absolutely not healthy and hating yourself over this only hurts your relationship with food.

I went 400 kcal over yesterday – it’s all good! My body clearly needed it as I could tell I wasn’t bored or anxious (my two biggest triggers), and today is another day. It’s all good my friend. Try to look at things in a weeklong perspective, and give yourself some grace. PS, that sandwich looks delicious!
